Ages 11-14: Take Adventure to the next level – planning becomes more hands-on as your Troop blazes their own trail.
Ages 15-17: Push your potential. With support from your Company, climb the mountain of your goals to reach a personal summit.
Ages 18-26: The world awaits. Enjoy good times with others who share your values and challenge yourself with personal goals for future success, with support from a mentor.

We will host our group bowling competition event in June. Winner of each section will take home a trophy
(Pack, Troop, Company, Crew and Scouter). The cost includes games, shoes rental and crest.
Besides fun we will submit our scores to “World Scout Ten Pin Bowling Competition”.

I would like to let you know Friday Jun 13, 2023 will be our last official meeting at PETHS before summer holiday.
We will host our Advancement and Closing Ceremony on the Jun 16 meeting.
All members please arrive before 19:00 with full uniform, make sure you look sharp and great. There are lots to setup,
prepare and final rehearsal before the ceremony.

Move4Mana is an initiative that raises awareness around the world about hunger while encouraging youth to get active.
The app will open privately for Scouts groups to open their own team. Each group/team can sign up to compete against other teams to gain the most
points over the span of 2 weeks. There (may) be prizes for the winning team.

Scouts Canada is running a spring national fundraising / awareness for Climate Change. This campaign runs between April 7 to Jun 6, 2025.
Scouting youth across the country will have the opportunity to fundraise while raising awareness for climate change through the sale of Scoutrees.
Every tree sold will donate 40% of proceeds to Scout Groups and be both planted and maintained in a biodiverse forest in Alberta by our planting
partners, Canada's Forest Trust Corporation.

Kub Kar & Scout Truck Rally is one of our STEM program.
Cubs and Scouts members to design, cut out using carpentry tools, and partially assemble their wooden vehicles in one meeting,
and then take them home to finish assembling, painting, decorating, etc. At the next meeting, the vehicles are weighed and
youth practice running them on the track in preparation for the Rally. Winner(s) will represent the group to race in Shining Waters Council Rally.
NOTES: Parents and siblings are welcome to be spectator.

A winter activity is such a valuable experience for Scouting. Pack, Troop, Company and Crew
Sections are welcomed to join our winter camp at Woodland Trails in Stouffville. Your child will
learn various winter survival skills, build a quinzhee, hike with snowshoes, as well as many
more activities.
Troop, Company and Crew members will be sleeping in either tent or quinzhee. Please refer to
Winter Camping – Personal Gear Check List for personal gears.
NOTES: Parents please share with us about your child allergies and health related matters when register.

We invite and encourage you and your family to pack one or more shoeboxes.
With your support we can share our love to those who is less fortunate. Do your best to pack a shoeboxes fill with love
and bring it back on the Collection Day. We will deliver them to the Collection Centre for you. There is a $12.00 cost
for shipping the box. You can enclose $12.00 in an envelope or use the follow link to support the shipping cost.

Are you interested in giving back to the environment? Join Ontario Streams at Toogood Pond Park (near 669 Village Pkwy, Unionville,
ON L3R 2X8) on Saturday, October 5th to plant trees! The event will run from 11 am - 1 pm and you can come at any time and stay for
as long as you would like. Gardening gloves and shovels will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own as well.
We will have a water refill station so please bring your own water bottle. We will be planting rain or shine, so please dress for
the weather and wear closed toed shoes. Some light snacks will be provided as well.
